Fishing
Enjoy a relaxing day of fishing without leaving The Ranch at Southfork. If you like fishing you will have to try fishing in our private pond or fly fishing in the Southfork of the Little Colorado River which runs through the ranch. Or book an experience through Fly Fish Arizona and Beyond!
Hiking/Mountain Biking
Hiking the White Mountains is an experience you will never forget.
There are local trails rated from leisure to difficult for both hiking and mountain biking, so regardless of your experience and preference you can find a trail experience that is right for you.
Horseback Riding
Sprucedale Equestrian Center is EVERYTHING HORSES! From horse lessons, to trail rides to Exclusive cowboy experiences. Sprucedale Guest Ranch has been operating as a dude ranch for 80 years.
Hunting
The Ranch at Southfork will make an excellent base of operations for your hunting trip to the White Mountains. Reserve the Overlook or Riverview cabin and after a long day of hunting elk, deer, antelope or any of the wide variety of game in the area, you can unwind in the private hot tub located at the cabin, or just relax by the fireplace.
Skiing
Downhill or cross country, The White Mountains offer a premier skiing experience.
For the downhill skiiers among you, Sunrise Ski Park is only 15 miles away and offers some of the best skiing in Arizona.
The park offers 65 runs serviced by 8 lifts. The park also offers a separate snowboarding area, cross country ski trails and a “Funland” area just for the kids. The resort has two rental shops and a fully accredited ski school.
